Hand-printed on our midweight hoodie

At the bottom of the design it says, “it was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” which is a reference to “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. While the quote originates by describing the French Revolution, here we are talking about the type 2 type of fun where it’s both the best and the worst. Where you are cracked on your bike and all out of snacks, but you keep pedaling and it turns into the best ride of your life. 

Summer '92 hoodie is hand-printed on our grey mid-weight hoodie. There are mushroom prints down both sleeves. 

This design is about the idea of the lost West and the nostalgia that comes with it. On the top of the design, it says, “the sun sets over an empire,” which is a dual reference from the Sopranos (Tony says it to Dr. Melfi) and from the phrase “The empire on which the sun never sets.” Here we are using the cowboy iconography to reference the fact that we are losing a way of life that is more connected to nature.

Written on the back of this hoodie you’ll see things like “you don’t have to believe your own thoughts,” and “open your eyes… open your mind.” We are talking about a way of life that we thoroughly believe will bring you more happiness. The best part about being in nature is that for an hour or two, when you are climbing or skiing and in your flow state, you get to turn off the analytical and just be. This shirt commemorates that feeling. FYI mushrooms are another way of getting there… just saying.
